Airshafts with strips

Our pneumatic expanding airshafts are most suitable for narrow rolls or when more than one roll must be used on the same airshaft. The body can be made from natural or surface anodized aluminium, or alternatively from zinc-plated or chrome-plated steel.
The journals are made from zinc-plated steel; they are always manufactured according to the customer’s drawing.
The expansible strips are from aluminium or rubber-steel.
The strips can expand by multiple bladders from synthetic high-strength rubber.

• A special execution is designed for the food industry; it consists of a central body from hard oxidated aluminium; stainless steel journal and screws; polyurethane strips.

They are available with min. diam. 25 mm up to max. 300 mm.
