Expanding shafts with strips

Pneumatic expanding shafts are particularly suitable for use with narrow coils or multiple coils on the same shaft. For use in the food industry, a specific design is planned that includes: central body in aluminium with hard oxidation treatment; pins and screws in stainless steel; polyurethane strips. 

• The central body can be made from natural or surface anodized aluminium, or alternatively of steel with zinc coating or chrome plating.
• The steel end journals, with galvanizing treatment, are always manufactured according to the customer’s drawing.
• The expandable strips are made of aluminum or rubber-steel.
• The expansion of the strips is achieved by multiple air chambers made of high-strength synthetic rubber.
