Pneumatic expanding shafts with keys are mainly used to unwind or rewind single rolls min. 300 mm wide, and/or to transmit a high torque. 

• The central body can be made of natural or surface anodized aluminium, or alternatively in steel with galvanizing or chrome treatment.
• The steel end journals, with galvanizing treatment, are always manufactured according to the customer’s drawing.
• The expandable keys are made of either aluminum or rubber.
• he key expansion is achieved through a single high-strength rubber central tube.
